pip install mcp_server_dlis
After installation, you can run it as a script using:
python -m mcp_server_dlis
Add to your Claude settings:
"mcpServers": { "dlis": { "command": "python", "args": ["-m", "mcp_server_time"] } }
extract_channels
- Extracts all channels from a DLIS file and saves them to a folder structure.
file_path
: Path to the DLIS file to analyzeget Metadata
- Extracts metadata from a DLIS file with hierarchical structure.

You can use the MCP inspector to debug the server:
npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector mcp_server_dlis
